This year, we will combine two of our most in-demand courses into a single week. Delegates will have the opportunity to attend either one of the two courses or both.The Cranial Step II course is primarily designed for neurosurgical residents in the final years of their training and serves as a continuation of the Step I Cranial Course held in Brno. It will focus in greater depth on relevant neurosurgical anatomy, as well as on the planning and execution of advanced neurosurgical procedures, including neuroendoscopy and selected skull base approaches.The Spinal Step II course is also aimed at neurosurgical residents in the final years of training. It will focus on essential neurosurgical anatomy, surgical planning, handling of neurosurgical equipment, and advanced spinal neurosurgical approaches.Both courses are limited to 20 participants each.Registration will open on 24 February 2026.

The meeting is being held in conjunction with the annual ESMINT Congress. Joint EANS/ESMINT sessions, also featuring a number of prominent speakers from both Europe and the US, will be organised again and we encourage as many as possible of you to support and attend these joint meetings as well.Also this year, delegates will have the opportunity to attend a new edition of the Open Vascular Workshop taking place on 31 August 2026 as a pre-meeting hands-on course.Abstracts submission is now open!Registration will open soon!Click HERE for more information.

The 12th SNSS Annual Meeting with International Participation: Neurooncology 2026 – Think Global, Act Local: Challenges and Solutions, will be held from September 10-13, 2026, at the Radisson Hotel Park in the historic city of Niš, Serbia.The theme of the meeting will be Neurooncology 2026 – Think Global, Act Local: Challenges and Solutions. In an increasingly complex world, it is crucial for neurosurgeons to unite their global expertise while addressing the unique challenges faced in their local contexts. September 16–18: Expanded skull base surgery course with an endoscopic session, organised by the Department of Neurosurgery, Copenhagen University Hospital in collaboration with the Institute of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, University of Copenhagen. Designed for trainee and specialist surgeons, the course focuses on skull base anatomy and its translation into standard and advanced surgical approaches through lectures, 3D demonstrations, and hands-on dissection. Participants work in pairs on cadaveric specimens, with fully equipped stations including endoscope, surgical drill, microscope, and instruments. Find more here
