The Comorbidities of Epilepsy Course

Epilepsy is one of the most common, chronic neurological condition in the UK. The course will offer a practical grounding in the most common comorbidities associated with epilepsy. The course aims to provide a basic grounding in the epidemiology, nature, diagnosis and treatment of common comorbidities in patients with epilepsy. Delegates will be issued with a certificate of attendance and CPD will be sought from the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. EANS Cranial Step II and Spinal Step II Hands-On Courses

This year, we will combine two of our most in-demand courses into a single week. Delegates will have the opportunity to attend either one of the two courses or both.The Cranial Step II course is primarily designed for neurosurgical residents in the final years of their training and serves as a continuation of the Step I Cranial Course held in Brno. It will focus in greater depth on relevant neurosurgical anatomy, as well as on the planning and execution of advanced neurosurgical procedures, including neuroendoscopy and selected skull base approaches.The Spinal Step II course is also aimed at neurosurgical residents in the final years of training. It will focus on essential neurosurgical anatomy, surgical planning, handling of neurosurgical equipment, and advanced spinal neurosurgical approaches.Both courses are limited to 20 participants each.Registration will open on 24 February 2026.

Copenhagen Peripheral Nerve Surgery Course

A hands- on course for all surgeons with an interest in peripheral nerve surgery This course is aimed at all surgeons with an interest in peripheral nerve surgery. Objectives To improve skills for peripheral nerve surgery by means of lectures, demonstrations and anatomical dissections. Course set-up Lectures, demonstrations and hands-on sessions. Two participants per specimen. Each station is equipped with two sets of surgical instruments supplied by Kebomed and headlights. Please bring your own loupes if needed. Find out more here.

Copenhagen Skull Base Course 2026

September 16–18: Expanded skull base surgery course with an endoscopic session, organised by the Department of Neurosurgery, Copenhagen University Hospital in collaboration with the Institute of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, University of Copenhagen. Designed for trainee and specialist surgeons, the course focuses on skull base anatomy and its translation into standard and advanced surgical approaches through lectures, 3D demonstrations, and hands-on dissection. Participants work in pairs on cadaveric specimens, with fully equipped stations including endoscope, surgical drill, microscope, and instruments. Find more here

Copenhagen Skull Base Course

The Skull Base Surgery Course is a collaboration between Copenhagen University Hospital and the University of Copenhagen. It is designed for trainee and specialist surgeons interested in skull base surgery. The course combines lectures, 3D demonstrations, and hands-on dissections to teach anatomy and surgical approaches. Participants work in pairs at fully equipped stations with endoscopes, drills, microscopes, and surgical instruments.
